Ten unique Hopscotch forms, inspired by international configurations of the game, invites visitors to play. The bright color palette is inspired by the South Florida landscape. HopBeat refers to the linked audio selections provided by local musicians. The music enhances the visual experience while inspiring movement. The project intends to inspire participants to connect with and honor the multiple communities that reside in Broward County. The website provides access to the audio files, musician information, and the opportunity to purchase more music. HopBeat provides vibrant color, strong visuals, cultural information, playful interaction, and music to the visual environment.
This project creates a point of connection and conversation for the viewers.
